The goal of the Dr. DivX 2.0 OSS project is to build an application which is portable and capable of transcoding as many video formats as possible to DivX.The software is released under the LGPL license.

Able to convert most input files Dr. DivX can convert most input files including MPEG-1, MPEG-2, VOB, AVI, , MOV, MP4, AVISynth scripts to DivX.
Uses available If you install a new version of the DivX , Dr. DivX uses it for encoding.
Tweak encode settings If required, encode settings can be manually configured for optimal output.
